Modern society is the best example of poor design.

Life in modern society does not promote iterative design. Instead, it favors a build-and-fire approach. In my experience, I learn the rules after unknowingly breaking them and then suffering the consequences. I don’t know anyone who reads long documents before they sign them. I also sign without reading.

Turns out I’ve agreed, for many years, that a crucial part of registering your vehicle is having that little sticker on your license plate. Without it, even if you’ve paid the registration and the DMV has record of it, it’s still not lawfully registered (at least in Nevada).

All hail the mighty sticker.

But I don’t agree. Who the fuck needs to know whether my vehicle is registered? And what does registration do for me anyway?

Oh, that’s right. It’s in more of those long documents that few people have ever laid eyes on, let alone read and understand.

Fuck all these archaic, stupid rules no one’s heard of or understands. We need massive genocide of all written rules so we can just start the fuck over.
